Asbury Park Sunglasses

I'm extremely picky when it comes to sunglasses, and the Asbury line has been my favorite from the start. I had reached out to order another pair a while back, but unfortunately they weren't available at the time.

Not too long ago, I checked the website again and was thrilled to see that Nectar had brought the Asbury line back! I immediately ordered my second pair, making it the third pair for our family since my wife picked up a pair last season.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My only hope is that Nectar expands the Asbury line with even more frame colors and lens options.

Love the color of the lenses! Bought these for my brother as a gift but they are a little big for his face shape. The customer service is great when I needed to ask for a refund. He really likes your sunglasses so once the kitty hawks are available again I'm going to get him that style instead! Thanks for being so helpful! We all have a pair of your shade and really love them! And I really loved the case these ones came in. Too bad the chucktowns don't offer a sweet case like this one does but I understand. Just wanted to say the cases are awesome, also!

I've had Electric Swingarm XL's for the last few years and eventually they broke in my hoodie pocket when I was picking something up. Electric said they couldn't fix them and instead gave me a 30% off coupon, which made them over $100 still - no thanks. So I started researching replacements and found these babies, which are so close in style I was amazed. These Asbury Parks are well made, solid sunglasses. If someone told me they were $200, I would believe them, but I paid just $58 after coupons with shipping and taxes. A huge difference between the two sunglasses are the hinges. On my Swingarms, it is a PLASTIC hinge with a metal screw. This is the part that broke and because the hinge is attached to the frames, the only thing you can do is replace them. On the Nectar Asbury Parks, the hinges are ALL metal with a metal screw and it attaches to the frame and the temples. The polarized lens are great, I used them yesterday while I SUP'ed an intertidal river and I could see right through the water. Well done Nectar, keep up the good work!

Amazing shades, love the size of the xl frames

Frames and fit are great, but the blue lenses easily lose their reflective coating. After only three days, the blue coating seems to have chipped off in a few spots. Not scratched just spots of the blue reflective lenses are now black dots. Disappointing. Love the look and fit though.

Great shades, amazingly clear lenses. They fit my fat head and don’t pinch behind the ears after long wear. I love these shades, classy and stylish with the turtle shell to black fade. Quality job and will be getting more.

Shades came in missing a lens. Return process a hassle

So, I will qualify by saying i had to return them as they didnt fit my enormous head (hat size 8 1/4). The glasses fit my face well but the earstems werent long enough. Its too bad because the look and the lenses were awesome. I think you'll like them and should give them a try.

I have not received them yet. Wondering why it's taken so long.

I like the glasses, but I was annoyed with the customer service. Immediately after completing my order, I realized that the incorrect shipping address was used at so I emailed customer service asking to reroute the package to the correct address. Customer service was slow to respond and basically told me that they would not update the route. Fortunately, I have a friend who lives in the area of the incorrect shipping address, who sent a package to me directly. However, if that did not take place, customer service basically left me with the impression that I was SOL.

Great glasses, better customer care.

Paid $69 but only got a $55 refund which alone will ensure that I never try another pair. Not a good business model.

They fit my face very well. First ever nice pair of sunglasses I ever bought and I would highly recommend others to look into them.
