1,000 waves per hour

1,000 waves per hour

Wavegarden Cove 2017 (3 min) from wavegarden on Vimeo.

Wave pools are getting to the point to where we can't tell the difference between manmade waves and one's made by nature.

The latest technology from Wavegarden, the Cove, offers a bright blue barrel that could be bringing tubes to landlocked places all around the world. Supposedly at a rate of 1,000 waves per hour.

Combine this with Kelly Slater's unbelievable wave pool, and the future for surfing in somewhere like Idaho sure looks bright.
