2016 WRV OBX Pro

Get ready to root for your hometown boys in the OBX/VB region as they battle it out at Jennette's Pier in Nags Head, North Carolina. So, pray for Waves and save the date for a beach day in OBX during Labor Day Weekend. The OBX Pro is a huge deal because it is a contest that is a part of the WSL Qualifying Series, and is much better to spectate compared to the overrated ECSC contest, which is held in Virginia Beach, VA. In 2014 our local boy Michael Dunphy from VB got the big W, and this past year the title was claimed by Asher Nolan from Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Hopefully, a VB/OBX surfer will reclaim the title this year.
