I originally purchased the Asbury Park model—by far the best. It’s a shame they’re no longer available, because the quality was outstanding: solid frames and great lenses.
Recently, I purchased the Islamorada line after being told they were comparable to the Asbury Park. Unfortunately, they weren’t even close. They felt cheaply made—much lighter, and the lenses didn’t seem to provide much protection. I actually ended up giving them to my best friend, since he had just lost his pair in the ocean. Rather than deal with the hassle of warranty, I passed mine along.
That said, I really do like the Nectar brand. I’ve gotten many compliments on my glasses, both at the beach and out on the town, and I’ve even felt like a bit of an ambassador for the brand. Several friends have bought pairs because of my recommendation, and even my wife finally picked up a pair (the Folly), which she absolutely loves.
I’m truly saddened that the Asbury Park line is no longer made, but I hope this experience doesn’t deter me from choosing Nectar in the future.

I'm going to echo all the other voices here; PLEASE bring back the other color options in the chucktowns. The classic black frame with black lenses. It's my favorite pair of shades, and I'd love to order more, but I don't want the colorful lenses. The amber lenses are not dark enough for me.

Love these glasses! They fit perfectly and the polarized lenses are the best I have ever worn. The warranty process is easy too and the customer service responded quickly.

nice design just would be nice if you provide with the lens cloth for cleaning too. otherwise the product is good!

These sunglasses are my favorite! The fit, weight, look and pricing is perfect. Customer service is also fantastic. And getting to support a SC business as being where I’m from just adds a bonus to it too.
